Meet LIFTEX, formerly E-Z Riser Roof Raising.

At LIFTEX, safety is our top priority for all lifting operations. Before any roof lifting project commences, we ensure comprehensive safety protocols are in place:

Employee Training:

All new hires undergo 10 to 30 hours of OSHA training, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training: We prioritize the use of appropriate PPE for every employee involved in our projects.
  • Equipment Operation: written and practical exams are mandatory before stepping on-site for scissor lifts, forklifts, and articulating (boom) lifts.
  • Toolbox Talks: Regular safety meetings keep our team informed about potential hazards and safety requirements unique to each jobsite.
  • Employee Vigilance: Every team member is empowered to identify and report potential hazards.
  • Immediate Communication: Walkie-talkies are a common tool used to facilitate immediate communication among all team members.
  • Weather Considerations: Our team is trained to adapt on the fly and prioritize safety by rescheduling lifts in adverse weather conditions.
  • Regular Review and Updates: Training documents are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the latest safety standards.
  • Quarterly Safety Meetings: Comprehensive safety meetings are held to reinforce safety protocols.
  • Job Box: Our job sites are equipped with essential safety gear and materials, ensuring preparedness for any situation.

  • Individual Cylinder Control: Unlike centralized systems, each lift point is equipped with its own cylinder control, preventing a complete system failure by creating many less significant points of failure rather than a single catastrophic one.
  • Double-Valve System Operation: Our lifting mechanisms are equipped with a double-valve system, providing an additional layer of protection against lift failure.
  • Double Pin Lifting system: Our lift points use a hardened lifting pin, rated to sustain the lift point load, plus a secondary safety pin of equal rating at each point.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Our lifting equipment pumps undergo regular inspection, cleaning, and servicing to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.
  • On the site, Erection Cabling is installed the same day we lift the roof, in accordance with a PE approved design.
  • We also ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations by following OSHA guidelines.
